Ali is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant and a Bachelors in Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and has over 14 years of post qualification experience.
He has previously held the role of a Manager in the Audit and Assurance Services at Ernst & Young, Riyadh, KSA with detailed and insightful experience in multiple sectors including banking, dairy, manufacturing / trading businesses, investment, construction, power and insurance sector.
He has also held the role of a Manager with the Global Assurance Learning Team of Ernst & Young based in Cleveland, Ohio, USA for a period of nine months and was involved in the development of training curriculum for new and intermediate assurance staff globally, ensuring that the training materials developed are technically accurate and in compliance with the new and updated audit methodology and IFRS.
